Free, community-built utilities for nuclear medicine and ultrasound professionals. Download, use, and share.
Nucleolab is a free, non-profit platform dedicated to nuclear medicine physicians, radiologists, and ultrasound specialists who want to share knowledge and practical tools with their peers.
The platform collects freeware utilities — calculators, analyzers, reporting aids, and scripts — created either by the founder or contributed by the community. Every tool is built by practitioners, for practitioners: people who face real clinical and research challenges every day and found a way to solve them programmatically.
The spirit of Nucleolab is simple: if you built something useful, share it. If someone else built something useful, use it freely. No licenses, no fees, no bureaucracy.
Beyond the tools, Nucleolab aims to grow a living community of researchers and enthusiasts in the fields of nuclear medicine and ecography — a place to discuss clinical cases, exchange ideas, propose new utilities, and stay updated on what colleagues around the world are working on.
In a field where specialized software is often expensive or inaccessible, Nucleolab exists to lower the barrier and keep expertise in the hands of the people who need it most.
AmyloidAnalyzer
AmyloidAnalyzer is a standalone web-based tool for the quantitative analysis of bone scintigraphy with 99mTc in the diagnosis of cardiac ATTR amyloidosis.
Developed by Dr. Guido Maria Meduri (Campus BIOMEDICO University of Rome / Medipass / Ergea Group) through an iterative conversation with Claude (Anthropic), with no manual coding.
What it does:
-
Loads DICOM files (native parser) or JPG/PNG images
-
Calculates the H/CL ratio at 1h and 3h from original pixel counts
-
Calculates the Retention Index (RI = H/CL 3h − H/CL 1h)
-
Supports the Perugini Visual Score (0–3) integrated in the 3h panel
-
Interactive circular ROIs with ASNC constraint enforced (identical size across heart, contralateral lung and 3h acquisition)
-
Automatically generates a structured report text ready to paste into any reporting system
-
Runs entirely in the browser — no server, no data upload, full offline support
Nuclear Medicine Toolkit
